I was excited to be a part of this particular event being a coder as coding was fine but its the design of the app that helps you sell your application in the marketplace. So travelling from Mumbai to Pune for Microsoft Design Camp was not a big deal. The event was on 7th June, 2013 at Hyatt Regency, Pune.

Every session was well organised with the speakers explaining the topics for 40 Mins followed by 20 mins of break where the attendees sketched there app design on paper, based on the principles explained on particular topic.

The event was well organised with around 150 attendees present at the venue making it easier for the speakers to reach out to the attendees personally & help them with their design & to clarify the doubts(if any) meticulously. Well, got to give the speakers(Brandy & Brian) the credit for handling the session well & making the concepts clear for the people.
At the end, there was a contest held for the attendees known to be as "Cook Up a Design" contest where attendees were asked to come up with design for their app minimum of 3 pages(only the screenshots of the design was required no code). And the top 5 designing team got Flipkart vouchers worth of 6k in all. And every participants were provided with a Scandisk Pen drive.

The event was a memorable one, where we learnt alot & had loads of fun. And, the arrangements for the lunch & dinner was just too awesome credit goes to Microsoft & Team, It was a pleasure being invited for such a great event. Thank you !
